HDD (Hard Disk Drive) Camcorders use internal hard disc, similar to which you find in your portable computer, to store video directly. This format is becoming increasingly popular due to high capacities on HDD's today. HDD camcorder range from 30Gb to 120Gb providing 4 hours to 15 hours of HD video recording and even more in a lower video quality format. HDD camcorders are very compact, easy to use and there is no need to buy or carry additional recording media.
