The Panasonic DMR-BWT800 boasts a 500GB hard drive and this can store up to 129 hours of HD material in DR mode or 258 hours of SD programmes. You also have the option to record on to Blu-rays including dual layer discs and DVDs. A variety of compression modes are available for converting recordings, allowing you to fit more on to the hard drive or a disc.
The Panasonic DMR-BWT800 is equipped with twin Freeview HD tuners, so you can not only record your favourite programmes in stunning HD, but you can also record one channel whilst watching another or even record two channels simultaneously. Guide Link ensures that you record the entire programme, should their be delays or changes to the channel schedule, plus you can record every scheduled episode of a series in one go and even pause and rewind live TV, so you’ll never miss a second!
3D Blu-ray Player
The cutting-edge Panasonic DMR-BWT800 can also be used as 3D Blu-ray player for immersive 3D entertainment with incredible depth and action that jumps out of the screen. The Panasonic DMR-BWT800 can play a variety of media files from a connected USB storage device or SD, SDHC or SDXC Card. Files supported include DivX, MKV, AVCHD, JPEG, MPO and MP3, and AVCHD, JPEG and MPO with memory cards, such as the images and video shot with your camera. You can also copy video, music and photos on to the BWT800’s hard drive, so you can store all your media in once place and access it at anytime! The DMR-BWT800 can even use the online Gracenote database to add song and artist information to your music files stored on the hard disk.
Other connections include two HDMI outputs, allowing you to separately output video to your TV and audio to an AV receiver – Ideal if you’re AV receiver doesn’t support 3D for example.
