Play a range of media files from USB or Memory Card
Entertainment isn’t just restricted to DVDs and CDs. For example the DP581 has a USB connection with a number of uses. You can play a range of files from a connected USB stick such as high-quality DixX video, MP3 and WMA music complete with ID tags for track and artist information, and you can display JPEG image files as well. You can also connect a compatible mp3 player to the DP581 and ‘rip’ music directly from an audio CD inside the player. The copied tracks will then appear as mp3 files, in the same track order on the mp3 player and you can do this without the need for a PC!
The player also has a 3-in-1 Card Reader which can be used to display JPEG images and video from a camera or camcorder’s memory card for example – Great for sharing your snaps with friends and family.
Sound can come from either built-in speakers or two pairs of connected headphones (sold separately) Sound is first-rate and the player boasts 3D Surround Effect that simulates the immersive sound experience created by home cinema systems.
