Light up the location - great for shoots where lighting is limited. Lights and flashes can help reduce red-eye effect and improve shots at night or in dimly lit locations.
Most lights and flash units attach to the camcorders accessory shoe. They are powered either by battery or by the camera, depending on the light/flash unit.
Certain flashes can operate in conjunction with the camcorder, automatically adjusting and functioning depending on the light and camcorder settings.
