Even with the large number of pixels, noise isn’t an issue as the camera uses three high-sensitivity CMOS sensors. You can capture images in dimly lit locations and even shoot under a minimum luminance of 1.6 lx.
The SD200 records on to SD and SDHC Memory Cards. SD is a reliable, practical recording format that allows for easy playback and transferring of video. With SD, just take the memory card out of the recorder and slot it into your compatible television or computer and you can playback your video or transfer it across immediately. As the SD format doesn’t require a transport mechanism, the camera is more durable and reliable. The latest SDHC cards can store 32GB, providing with you with plenty of space for video and stills.
If the advanced 3MOS sensor and Full HD video wasn’t enough, Panasonic have also included their new iA (intelligent auto) mode) which lets you improves the picture further just by pressing a button. iA consists of three shooting assist functions; O.I.S, Face Detection and Intelligent Scene Selector. Together these mean you can film high-quality video immediately without the hassle of menus and settings. (O.I.S) Optical Image Stabiliser corrects camera movement caused by handshake 4,000 times per second - A great addition as most of us frequently film handheld. Face Detection automatically detects the faces in the frame and ensures they are always clear, sharp and bright. While Intelligent Scene Selector automatically picks the best scene settings based upon the shooting conditions. With iA you’re always ready to achieve great looking video.
