With the Panasonic HM-TA2, you can start recording hugely impressive Full HD video (1920 x 1080/30p) at the touch of a button. The HM-TA2 is equipped with a 3.0” touchscreen for intuitive, user-friendly control and for framing your shot with ease.
As well as stunning Full HD 1080p video, the Panasonic HM-TA2 can be used to capture high-quality still images with an 8 megapixel resolution. A built-in LED ensures bright, crisp images when taking photos in doors for example and you can even save a frame of your video as a still photo by simply pressing the Photo Cutout button during video playback.
The Panasonic HM-TA2 boasts an E.I.S. (Electrical Image Stabiliser) system to counteract hand-shake and reduce the blurring that often occurs with compact cameras. E.I.S helps to achieve great results when you're shooting whilst walking for example or taking self portraits.
You can be creative with your video as the Panasonic HM-TA2 offers a number of filter modes. Sepia for example gives your creations extra warmth, monochrome mode makes it extra cool, while soft skin mode ensures stunning skin tones.
The Panasonic HM-TA2 can also be used as a Voice Recorder and uses a linear PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) system to record audio that is faithful to the original. You can capture still photos and audio simultaneously and play them back together as well!
The Panasonic HM-TA2 has a Night View Mode for capturing clear images with minimal noise even in dark scenes, such as dimly lit indoor locations and parties. Night View Mode allows you to film with twice the brightness of Panasonic’s previous model. The HM-TA2 can detect if you’re trying to capture a dark scenes and the mode selector button lights up on the LCD screen, you can then simply press the button to start shooting with Night View Mode.
You can easily transfer your video and photos with the Panasonic HM-TA2. The mobile camera features a built-in USB terminal, so there’s no need for separate cables and built-in HD Writer PE 2.0 software launches whenever you connect the HM-TA2 to your PC. This software allows you to easily share your video with a single click! The Panasonic HM-TA2 also has a mini HDMI connection for playing your video and display your images on an HDTV with optimum image quality.
