"Boasts an Image Stabiliser for unparalleled clarity and a robust, water-proof housing"

Canon 10x42L IS WP are top of the range binoculars that  boast unparalleled clarity and a robust, water-proof housing.

The 10x42L IS WP delivers class-leading optical performance. This is partly down to the two Ultra-low Dispersion glass (UD) lens elements on each side. These eliminate chromatic aberration and help to provide super bright, high contrast images with 10x magnification.

The state of the art binoculars also feature a Vari-Angle Prism (VAP) Image Stabiliser (IS) This helps to counteract the vibrations caused by hand-held viewing especially if you’re on a boat or moving vehicle. Tiny gyros detect even the slightest movement and a microprocessor then controls a special prism to correct the refraction angle of incoming light.

The binoculars are designed to be used in almost all conditions. They’re fully waterproof and the unique easy-grip design means you can use them with ease in wet conditions. The robust rubber coating also provides further protection.

All of the exterior surfaces are treated with a special metallic coating to prevent fogging on the internal lens elements. The special O-rings and use of waterproof adhesives on all external contact points to prevent water from getting and so keep the image clear.

The lens element surfaces treated with Super Spectra coatings. This eliminates unwanted internal reflections that can cause ghosting and flare and instead leaves you with high contrast images with accurate colour balance.

The binocular’s large 4.2mm exit pupil allows a bright field of view in low light conditions and the wide 65° angle of view means you can fit a large area in the frame.

The 16mm Long Eye Relief minimises vignetting - a common occurrence if you’re binoculars whilst wearing glasses. Plus the correction lock prevents unintentional dioptric correction errors and the extending eye-cups can be rotated for customised fitting.
