"High-performance, multipurpose binoculars with Image Stabilisation technology"

Jamie Smith - ASK's Technology Expert

Canon’s 12x36 IS II are high-performance, multi-purpose binoculars with Image Stabilisation technology.

With a powerful 12x magnification, distant and hard to view subject are brought in to view with impressive clarity. You can also benefit from a 60º apparent field of view, allowing you to see even more of the subject.

The binoculars boast Canon’s Image Stabilisation (IS) technology that effectively eliminates handshake and ensures a consistently steady image. The IS mechanism corrects the incoming light path by precisely the right amount and is so effective you even can use the binoculars whilst in a moving vehicle. IS is powered by two AA batteries and these provide around four hours of continuous operation.

The Doublet Field Flattener lenses help to produce beautiful, flat, distortion-free images, plus the Super Spectra lens coatings ensure vivid, high contrast images with accurate colour balance. It also eliminate internal reflections that can cause 'flare' and image 'wash out.'

The long eye relief allows you to see the full field of view from up to 14.5mm even if you’re wearing glasses. There are also large rubber eyecups that make viewing comfortable and easy.

12x36 IS II are lightweight, compact and durable binoculars. You’ll benefit from a user-friendly design with a large focusing dial and centre-mounted IS button that can be easily accessed by either hand.
