The DXA-6VU connects to almost any camcorder with a microphone input. The unit features a screw that can securely attach to the camcorder and a thread for attaching to tripods.
The device features dual balanced XLR inputs and dual 48w Phantom Power switches for connecting two condenser microphones. There’s also an auxiliary mini-jack input that’s ideal for wireless microphones. Plus you can choose whether to output audio as mono or stereo.
There are LINE or MIC level inputs and independent level controls with LED level metres for each channel, so you can keep an eye on your audio and prevent it from peaking. A ground switch can provide noise-free operation and the quiet, passive circuitry ensures clear, crisp audio.
The DXA-6VU is powered by a 9V battery and this provides around three hours of use. There’s also a handy LED indicator to let you know when battery power is low.
