Cutting-edge Super CCD EXR Sensor
The camera is the first to features Fuji’s new, innovative sensor, the 1/1.6 inch Super CCD EXR. This innovative 3-in-1 sensor produces simply stunning image quality that’s never been achieved on a camera at this level. The sensor’s three different modes can be manually chosen or automatically set for you. The High resolution priority mode captures the highest resolution possible, providing incredible detail. Signal to Noise Priority mode uses 'pixel binning' to produce 6-megapixel images but unlike other cameras it also uses Pixel Fusion Technology to prevents the generation of false colours which can often occur with pixel binning. This results in class-leading detail, definition and noise levels when capturing at a high sensitivity. Dynamic Range Priority mode takes two separate 6 megapixels simultaneously but with different exposures to produce images with a much higher dynamic range. The images are then merged resulting in up to an 800% higher Dynamic Range, providing both highly-accurate shadows and highlights. For example you can produce pale skies with true-to-life shades of blue, rather than them looking bleached out.
Set the camera to EXR Auto mode and it not only picks the most suitable EER sensor mode but it also sets the optimal exposure, white balance, focal distance, ISO setting and resolution to suit your scene.
The camera also features fifteen handy scene modes for you to choose from. These adjust settings to suit various locations and subjects including photographing fireworks, on the beach, at night or in the snow for example.

With the FinePix F200EXR, it’s bye-bye blurring, as the camera features Dual Image Stabilisation. This combines the Super CCD EXR's high sensitivity with a lens-shift stabiliser that counteracts blur caused by camera shake and subject movement.
Face Detection 3.0 is Fuji’s latest technology that sets the optimum focus, colour and exposure to ensure fantastic faces. This works no matter what angle the face is at and also removes the dreaded red-eye!
Fujifilm's Portrait enhancer mode will make your subjects look like models out of a magazine. It automatically retouches the faces for you, smoothing skin tones and removing any blemishes.

The camera also makes a great tool for capturing artistic video. You can choose from five film simulation modes which are modelled on Fujifilm's renowned film. For example Velvia/Vivid mode provides brightly coloured and sharper images, ideal for holidays in the summer.
