The Canon EOS 600D is a mid-range DSLR with a lot to offer. The camera boasts a class-leading 18-megapixel resolution, user-friendly design and is packed with great features such as Full HD video recording, Wide-area 9-point AF and 3.7fps continuous shooting.
Class-leading resolution
The Canon EOS 600D boasts an APS-C sized, 18-megapixel CMOS sensor. This not only ensures images full of detail and with superb clarity, but it also allows you to turn your images into large-size prints and gives you the flexibility to crop pictures.
The Canon EOS 600D is also equipped with the latest 14-bit DIGIC 4 image processor and this helps to achieve excellent colour reproduction, smooth tonal gradation and also provides impressive noise reduction capabilities.
The EOS 600D offers an ISO range of 100-6400 and extendable to ISO 12,800. This means you can produce great-looking images when shooting hand-held, in low-light conditions and without the need for flash.
On the back of the EOS 600D, you’ll find a 3.0" 3:2 Clear View LCD screen with class-leading 1,040k-dot resolution. The display offers superb clarity and also has a versatile vari-angle design, so you can flip it out and pan and tilt it - Handy for those tricky angles where you can’t use the viewfinder or a standard display.
Full-HD EOS Movie
The Canon EOS 600D is ready to shoot Full HD video at anytime. You have full manual control over frame rate, exposure and sound and you can even use the handy Movie Digital Zoom for 3-10x magnification as you film whilst still retaining Full HD image quality. The camera also has clever Video Snapshot technology that can merge short 2, 4 or 8 second video clips into a single movie file, creating footage that looks like it was professionally edited.
The EOS 600D features a 9-point wide-area AF system with one central cross-type sensor, spread out across the frame. This ensures quick, accurate focusing, even with off-centre subjects. Plus 63-zone iFCL metering provides accurate exposures time after time.
The Canon EOS 600D is one of the first EOS DSLRs to have an integrated wireless Speedlite flash controller. This together with Easy Wireless technology allows you to make use of off-camera TTL flash without the need for any extra accessories – A cost effective solution for taking your photography further.
Activate Scene Intelligent Auto mode and the camera will analyse your scene in detail and then choose the appropriate camera settings, so you can concentrate on framing your shots, knowing that you’ll get great results.
You can also choose from a range of Creative Filter Effects, should you wish to be more creative. These effects can be applied to Raw and JPEG files and you can choose from unique simulation options such as Toy Camera, Soft Focus, Miniature, Grainy Black & White and Fish Eye.
The EOS 600D combines advanced technology with a user-friendly design, so even if your a less experienced photographer, you can still get the best from the camera. The camera’s Basic+ technology lets you customise basic auto settings according to lighting conditions or ambience.
