There are a number of different headphones available. Closed headphones fit around your entire ear and are more suitable for use at home; often used by professionals working with audio.

Open headphones are smaller in size and will rest inside your ear. They come in a number of designs and are used mainly for use with portable audio players such as iPods.

Headphones are designed to suit different tasks and lifestyles. Sports headphones can come in designs that fit around your ear, providing extra stability when you’re moving. Ear buds are small and compliment the compact design of modern mp3 players.

We can record audio using a number of different devices these days: mp3 players, computers, Dictaphones, camcorders. All these devices use 3.5mm mini jack inputs, in most cases, to record audio on to the device. We stock a variety of microphones that use this connector type including handheld microphones, tie-clip and table top.
