Wireless Network Cards
With Wireless Network Cards you can access the Internet or your local network almost anywhere in the house. Network Cards come in a number of formats, each suitable for different computer types.
PCI Network Cards are PCI cards that fit inside a desktop computer by connecting it to the motherboard. The card has an external aerial that protrudes from the back of your computer in order to connect to the local wireless network.
PCMCIA Network Cards slot in to the side of your notebook computer. Part of the card, about an inch in width, pokes out from the side of your notebook. This part works as the external aerial.
USB Network Adapters simply connect to your computer via a USB connection - a simple but effective way for almost any computer or notebook to connect to a wireless network.
