Digital Voice Recorders
Digital Voice Recorders or dictaphones as they are sometimes known, are handheld devices for recording hours of audio on to either internal memory or microcassettes.
A useful tool for anyone who requires dictation, Digital Voice Recorders are simple to use and can record a large amount of good quality audio with minimum fuss.
Easy to record & easy to manage recordings
The majority of handheld voice recorders are now digital and record on to internal memory or removable memory cards. Storage capacity can range from 32MB up to over 2GB, with the devices with larger capacities able to store hundreds of hours of audio. File managing is simple as each track is an individual audio file that can be moved into a specific folder, copied and deleted via the Dictaphone's menu system. Transferring audio onto computers is also very simple as most Dictaphones connect via USB.
Almost all Digital Voice Recorders come with in-built microphones and allow for an external microphone to be connected via a line in jack (3.5mm). You can also play back your recordings via a headphone connection or on some models, via a built-in speaker.
