Inkjet printers (Bubblejet in some cases) are good all-round printers and offer great value for money. They work simply by dropping droplets of ink onto a piece of paper to form an image.

Inkjet can provide a cheaper printing option. Inkjet cartridges are readily available and do not cost much. You will not necessarily have to buy brand new cartridges every time they run out, as some can be refilled; helping save money and the environment.
If you wish to print a wide variety of images from photos to a number of pages of text, than the inkjet is the option for you.

Inkjet printers can include additional features that you won't find in laser printers; these include direct photo printing from cameras using PictBridge, memory card slots and LCD displays.
