With 4GB memory on-board, the NWZ-B163 can store approximately 1000 tracks – Around 70 to 90 albums. Plus the Walkman has a direct USB design, so you can plug it directly into your computer and easily copy tracks via Windows Media Player 11, 12 or a simple Drag and Drop!
The Sony B163 delivers impressive sound, no matter what you’re listening to. There is a designated Bass Boost button to enhance bass with thumping low-end sounds and full, natural tones, even at low volumes, plus you can use the built-in 5 band Equaliser with 4 presets and 1 custom setting to suit the genre of music that you’re listening to.
Simplicity to use
The NWZ-B163 has a simple, user-friendly design. For example the new, larger jog dial allows you to navigate through your playlist with ease, even when you’re on the go. There is also a handy one touch 'ZAP' button for finding your favourite songs in a flash. Simply press the button and you can hear a short snippet of each song by a particular artist for example. You can then press the Zap button at anytime to hear the whole of that particular song – Zappin is perfect finding the right song whilst exercising for example!
Long-lasting music and quick charging
The B163 leads the way when it comes to battery life. You get an impressive 18 hours per charge, plus if you charge the Walkman for just 3 minutes, you’ll get 90 minutes playback – Great if you’re in a hurry!
