At AskDirect, we're committed to providing
the highest quality products from the world's major Manufacturers
of Consumer Electronics. Most of the products supplied by
us are unopened and shipped out as received from the Manufacturers.
On rare occasions the product supplied by us may be faulty,
damaged or unwanted. In these circumstances, here's what
to do:
Right to cancel: you can cancel
your purchase at any time within 7 working days starting the day after your delivery is received. You can cancel by:
e-mailing us at sales@askdirect.co.uk, quoting
your Order Reference Number. We will then provide
you with a Returns Authorisation Number;
notifying us by telephone on 020 7307 8321.
We will then provide you with a Returns Authorisation
Number;
writing to After Sales, AskDirect, 251 Tottenham
Court Road, London, W1T 7RB. We will then provide
you with a Returns Authorisation Number.
returning the product to
our ASK Store at 248 Tottenham Court Road, London,
W1T 7QZ (Please note an AskDirect Returns Authorisation
Number must be provided either by e-mail, telephone
or in writing before you visit the store. You must
also bring your receipt with you to the store
and, if you paid by credit card/debit card,
your original card so that it can be credited);
Your product must be complete,
unused and in 'as new' condition (e.g., if you
have opened the box to examine the product you
must have done so without damaging or marking
the product in any way).
Your product must be returned with the original
box, packing and accessories. Pre-recorded DVDs,
Video Tapes, CDs, Minidiscs and other software
must be sealed. Any 'Free Gifts' received with
the product must also be returned.
We cannot cancel your purchase when:
you return your product to a store without
proof of purchase
there is a contract for services with the
product and you have started using the services
(this would include, e.g., a mobile phone subscription,
computer registration, but not an extended warranty
service agreement);
the seal has been broken on any software.
Your product may be returned to our ASK store or
collected from the delivery address. A collection
fee will be levied according to the weight of your
parcel.
After this 7 day period, unwanted goods will only
be accepted back at AskDirect's discretion and will
be subject to a Restocking Charge of 15% of the
value of the goods returned. These unwanted goods
will be returned to Askdirect at your cost.
Return
of faulty goods within 28 days
If there is a fault with your product, you may return
the product within 28 days of delivery for replacement:

are open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday) or
return it to our ASK store at 248 Tottenham Court
Road, London W1T 7QZ. If contacting us by telephone,
we will provide you with a Returns Authorisation
Number.
We will replace the product when:
the product is otherwise in 'as-new' condition.
it is returned complete with the original
box and packaging, together with any accessories
and free gifts offered with the product.
If a pre-recorded DVD, Video Tape, CD, Minidisc
or other software is faulty under guarantee we will
happily exchange it for the same title
Our aim to replace products does not apply to faults caused by accident, neglect,
misuse, dropping, and damage resulting from exposure
to sand or water. Generally, our Service Department
will verify these products as faulty, or we will
seek advice from the Manufacturer or a Manufacturer
Approved Service Agent.
Return
of faulty products after more than 28 days
All products suuplied by Askdirect carry a minimum
one-year guarantee (excluding consumable products
e.g. batteries, cartridges, tapes and films). Once
your product is more that 28 days old (but within
the 1 year guarantee) we will repair it free of
charge if it is faulty.
This does not apply:
outside the UK
to faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse,
dropping, and damage resulting from exposure
to sand or water
if you return the product to our store without
proof of purchase
If a pre-recorded DVD, Video Tape, CD, Mini-disc or other software
is faulty
under guarantee we will not repair it but we will exchange it for the
same title or refund your money.
