The WF1000XM4 earphones support Hi-Res Audio Wireless thanks to LDAC. With specially designed 6mm drivers, these earbuds reproduce a dynamic sound despite their small size, and the high compliance diaphragm reproduces a rich bass range. The Integrated Processor V1 also enhances sound quality and reduces distortion. Even compressed music files are upscaled, with our evolved DSEE Extreme™ technology by delivering a richer, more complete listening experience.
Smarter talking, smarter listening.
WF 1000XM4 headphones feature intuitive touch control settings – for example, tap on the left earbud to change from Noise Cancelling to Ambient Sound, or double tap on the right to skip to the next track. If you want to customise your touch controls, no problem. The Sony | Headphones Connect app lets you assign alternative options, such as Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and music volume control, to each earbud. These touch controls also allow you to instantly chat with someone without taking your headphones off by placing your finger over the right earbud to turn the volume right down and let in ambient sound. Better yet, as soon as you speak to someone, Speak-to-Chat automatically pauses the music and lets in ambient sound so you can conduct a conversation – handy if you want to keep your headphones with mic on, or your hands are full! And once your chat is over, your music starts playing again automatically.

Precise Voice Pickup technology, uses beamforming microphones and a bone-conduction sensor to allow the WF-1000XM4 microphone to pick up your voice clearly and accurately for hands-free calls – at home, in a café or wherever you are.
Up to 24 hours battery life & Quick charging
On a full charge with noise cancelling on, the headphones offer 8 hours, with the charging case providing a further 16 hours. With noise cancelling off, it’s even longer – 12 hours of power on a full charge, with a further 3x charges from the charging case, for up to 36 hours of play time.
IPX4 water resistance
As an added bonus, with an IPX4 water resistance rating, splashes and sweat won’t stop the WF1000XM4 earbuds!
